June 2003 MOUNTAIN MAN RENDEZVOUS
Jun 6-8: Cavalry Days
Location: Ft. Meade, Sturgis, SD 57785
Event Detail: Experience the beautiful Black Hills and an old west cavalry post as it was in the late 1800's in the Dakota Territory. Ft.Meade was established in 1878 at the northeast tip of the Black Hills in the shadow of Bear Butte to protect settlers and miners in and around the Black Hills. On June 6,7, and 8 of 2003 the old encampment will come alive again complete with cavalry, six shooters, and Indians. Don't miss a minute, beginning with a bank robbery on Main St in Sturgis, parade, art show and vintage style show, historic reenactments and living history, a beef stew cook off, old fashioned "hoe down", the Court Martial of General Custer and many other fun events.

Jun 7-8: Rendezvous Region Festival - Coon 'n Crockett Muzzleloaders Primitive Rendezvous & Shoot
Location: Icelandic State Park, West of Cavalier, ND 58220
Event Detail: Primitive clothing & lodge for Participants in camp; Primitive camp, shooting range, traders row & tin tipi camp in wooded area. Wood, water and hooters on site. Early set-up permitted Friday, Sunday overnight OK; NO CAMP FEE. Modern camping, showers in main park for a fee; Blanket shoots, primitive and novelty targets. Hawk and Knife TRADERS & DEMONSTRATORS WELCOME (NO FEE).

Event Detail: Please contact for more information on how to get to site. Patched roundball only. No water and limited firewood. NO DOGS. Cannons with permission of range officers. Each camp must have shovel and gunny sack and bucket of water for fire control! TRADERS WANTED!

Jun 27-29 : Buckskinners Muzzleloading Association 25th Anniversary Rendezvous
Location: Indian Mountain, outside Moncton (East of Maine), Moncton, NB, Canada
Event detail: We will be celebrating its 25th Anniversary during its Annual Summer Rendezvous to be held at Indian Mountain, outside Moncton (East of Maine) from Friday June 27th to Sunday June 29th. We will be having people from Maine, Nova Scotia and other parts of New Brunswick attend the Rendezvous.
